Pooh and Piglet Banned from Turkish TV

Adorable Winnie the Pooh and his best friend Piglet have been banned from Turkish TV.  Why?  Because Piglet is an unclean, offensive pig to some people, that's why. 

*Sigh.*  Killjoys!

This is just like the banning of Piglet we talked about last year in a case of British political correctness gone mad.  Only this is worse, really.  We're back in cartoon chaos.  Not quite of the Danish variety, admittedly, but still rather disturbing.  Hey, I thought Turkey was a modern, secular nation!  Will this sort of behavior help its attempts to join the EU?  Come on, people.
